The Philippine National Anti-Doping Organization (PHI-NADO) succeeds in promoting Clean Sport at Batang Pinoy 2025 at General Santos City from October 24 to October 31, 2025, through interactive learning activities as part of its Anti-Doping Education Program.

 

Thousands of young athletes, aged 15 years old and below, from all over the country gathered to compete in over 25 sports events, which PHI-NADO has taken advantage of to promote Clean Sport starting from the grassroots level.

 

The PHI-NADO booth served as an interactive hub where participants were educated about sports integrity, anti-doping, and the principle of “Play True. Play Clean. Play Fair.” in its entirety. Through fun games and activities facilitated by Clean Sport Ambassadors from PHI-NADO and PSC, the children did not only learn the values imparted to them but were also motivated to commit to promoting Clean Sport, as evidenced by their signatures on the “commitment wall.”

 

Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman John Patrick “Pato” C. Gregorio, together with PSC Commissioners, Edward L. Hayco and Walter Francis K. Torres visit the PHI-NADO booth at Robinson’s Mall on Day 1.

 

Simultaneously, on Day 3, young gymnasts visit the pop-up PHI-NADO booth at the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines (GAP) Training Center in Intramuros, City of Manila, which accommodated over 200 participants.

 

On Day 4, the PHI-NADO booth moved to Acharon Sports Complex to cater to the Athletics and Aquatics athletes, which were considered to have the biggest number of participants and are also among those with the highest risk of doping internationally. Overall, almost 3,500 participants took part in the booth activities.

 

PHI-NADO has empowered a total of 3,670 athletes, coaches, and athlete support personnel to choose Clean Sport. It has also earned positive feedback from local government units (LGUs) who look forward to bringing PHI-NADO’s Anti-Doping Education Program to their respective areas to reach even more athletes at the grassroots level. The significantly growing number of social media followers and page visitors of PHI-NADO since the said event started has definitely proven the initiative’s success.
